Twirl the Kitty
Christopher assumes
the position on the kitchen floor for the "Twirl the
Kitty" game. He was taught this by his Grandma Stephanie when
he was just a little kitten. In this photo, he's a 20 lb. cat!
To play twirl the kitty:
In a high, squeaky voice and with
enthusiasm, say "Twirl the Kitty!"
In response, the kitty assumes a taut, stretched out
position on a smooth surface.
The human teammate places their hand
along the kitty's spine right by the shoulder.
Start spinning the kitty counter
clockwise, slowly building up speed until the kitty is a blur.
Stop after 30 seconds and watch the kitty
stumble around like he's drunk.
Repeat until either the kitty or the
human has had enough.
