Little Bighorn Battlefield Tour 2000

Day 9 - We're not done yet!
Seattle, WA to Port Townsend, WA and back - 286 miles

Beauty shot The weather did not clear until noon so we ruled out Windy Ridge and Mt. St. Helens and opted for a ride up to Port Townsend. Coming back into our home port enabled us to swap out some of the bikes for others owned by Vince. So the ST1100 and SV650 were replaced by a CBR1000F and a Kawasaki EX500 Ninja and so Lenny got to participate in yet another multi-bike shootout. We were able to also invite Stew to join us on his brand new 1998 VFR800. He achieved his initial 600 mile break-in on this ride. He was a little amazed at our appetite for MORE riding even after 8 consecutive days and over 2,500 miles.

Lenny selected the Honda Super Hawk as "Best Bike" during our 8 day trip. On this shootout, he opted for the CBR! It got us wondering how he could go back home to a Road King and really be satisfied ever again. He received lots of free counseling on his options throughout the day.

Look at all that Honda red!
