Tacoma, WA to Richland WA - 260 miles
The obligatory pose in front of 14,410 ft. Mt. Rainier. We're standing a mile high in Chinook Pass in the Cascade Mtns. And yes, that's snow on the ground behind us.
A superb benefit of riding with Joe is getting to stay with his sister, Malakay, and her family. Her family is pictured in the Webster's dictionary under "hospitality"! We descended on their quiet, covenant controlled neighborhood like a pack of bikers right out of "The Wild Ones". Thank God we weren't on Harleys!
After feasting like kings and guzzling lots of Alan's superb wine, we sat outdoors and star gazed.
