Happy Birthday Ariens! The Vernal equinox (in the Northern Hemisphere) is the beginning of the new zodiacal year. The rise of the constellation Aries indicates the beginning of a new cycle in evolutionary development. Aries, symbolized variously by the ram, ewe or lamb, has represented new starts since antiquity. Spring fever is not just a cliché. It is that impatient feeling we all have during the time the Sun is passing through Aries. We feel full of (Aries) new ideas and new starts but we may not have the (Taurus) resources, time or proper weather just yet to carry them out.
